Covingham Park Primary School is celebrating a remarkable double success after securing places in both the Utilita Kids Cup Tournament and the Premier League Primary Stars U11 Girls Tournament. Their impressive performances mean they will proudly represent Swindon at the upcoming regional stages.

In the Utilita Cup competition, Covingham Park showcased teamwork, determination, and skill throughout the tournament. Their final against St Mary’s was a fiercely contested match, with Covingham delivering a standout performance to claim victory and book their spot in the regional event.

Not to be outdone, the Covingham Park girls’ team also delivered an outstanding display, defeating Ruskin School 4 – 1 in a confident and commanding final. Their well-earned win sees them join their other team in representing Swindon at regional level.

Both teams now look ahead to the next exciting stage of their football journeys. Dates for the regional tournaments will be announced soon, and the whole school community is gearing up to cheer them on.

This double qualification marks a fantastic achievement for Covingham Park Primary School, highlighting the school’s commitment to sport and the dedication of its young athletes. Congratulations to both teams, and best of luck in the regionals!
