This week, the ²⁵⁄₂₆ season for our C6 teams got underway and there were many victories and fantastic performances!

The C6 Boys 1s took on Colchester United A’s who were last season’s double winners, but that didn’t stop Swindon from bringing back all three points with a huge 1 – 0 victory! Coach Andy Tye led the squad to a solid defensive display and earned himself ​‘Gaffer of the Day’.

The C6 Girls 1s also started their season on a high with an impressive 3 – 1 victory on the road against Derby County Women! Two goals from Elise Clayton were enough to secure the three points, with Leah Holder earning ​‘Player of the Match’ for an A* performance.

The C6 Boys 2s put in a convincing performance against Brentford B, winning 7 – 1, with Jamie Edny scoring twice and securing himself ​‘Player of the Match’. Coach Paul Farrell was very impressed with the way his team battled hard all game.

The C6 Girls 2s faced a very strong Wycombe Wanderers side and, despite falling to a 4 – 1 defeat, it was a great effort from the girls, who battled hard throughout. Summer Dennis and Freya Llewellyn picked up the ​‘Players of the Match’ awards.

Finally, our C6 Boys 3s have started the season strong with 4 points from a possible 6. They drew 2 – 2 away at Plymouth, then followed that up with a dominant 7 – 1 home win against Bristol Rovers B. Tommy Mancari scored a hat-trick, and Alvin Fung was named ​‘Player of the Match’.
