Premier League Kicks Event with AFC Bournemouth

On Friday, we had the pleasure of welcoming AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust to Foundation Park for two Premier League Kicks fixtures, providing an exciting opportunity for young people to come together, represent their teams and experience competitive football.

A number of our regular Premier League Kicks participants were selected to represent our U13s and U16s teams, giving them the chance to put their skills into practice, develop their confidence and enjoy the experience of competing against another team. The fixtures provided a valuable opportunity for participants to demonstrate their ability, work together as a team and build on the positive relationships developed through the Premier League Kicks programme.

Alongside the football, we were also delighted to welcome U Turn, who delivered an educational workshop focused on drug and substance misuse. The session provided an opportunity for young people to learn more about the associated risks, raise awareness and take part in important conversations around making informed and positive decisions.

Days like this highlight the importance of programmes such as Premier League Kicks, which use the power of football to engage young people, create positive experiences and provide opportunities to learn and develop both on and off the pitch.

We would like to extend our thanks to AFC Bournemouth and U Turn for their involvement and support in making the day such a success. We look forward to continuing to provide opportunities like these for our young people in the future.
