Football for People with Learning Difficulties
LD Football (formerly knows as Special Olympics) is a weekly session for adults aged 16+ with learning disabilities. The session takes place every Wednesday at Foundation Park in the Nigel Eady Training Centre, from 7 — 8 PM. The programme runs concurrently with school term times, and costs £3 per session.
The group also come together to play competitive football in the ability counts league which is organised by the Wiltshire County FA. They have a good relationship with our Super Robins Mental Health Football Team, often training and playing together, and occasionally joining together to play fixtures.
