Super Robins

Football in Support of Positive Mental Health

Welcome to the Super Robins – Swindon Town FC Community Foundation’s pioneering mental health football team. Established over a decade ago, the Super Robins have become an integral part of our foundation, providing a welcoming environment where adults with mental health conditions can come together and connect through the beautiful game.

Our sessions offer much more than football. Participants enjoy the chance to make new friends, boost their physical health, and experience the camaraderie of being part of a supportive squad. The heart of our project lies in breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health, while helping individuals improve their physical, mental and social wellbeing.

The Super Robins proudly compete in the Wiltshire Ability Counts League, where they regularly play competitive matches. The league is now in its third season, and our team has finished as runners-up for the past two years – could this be the season we go one better?

Join us every Friday afternoon from 13:00 to 14:00 at Foundation Park. Sessions cost just £3 each.

If you or someone you know is interested in joining or would like more information, please feel free to contact Scott at scott@stfcfoundation.com.
